When I wake up my eyes slowly open. I get up out of bed. My eyes glance at the clock on my bookshelf,6:30,it says. The only noise I hear is my brother Ciaran’s massive snoring. My feet step silently across the floor, out of my room and down the stairs into pitch blackness. The only thing I see is the misty sea of fog outside the window. I turn on the lights and set the table for breakfast. Then an eerie, peircing noise fills my ears. It’s the cats,I realise, I feed them and go on the computer. “Meow!" They say as they eat throught the food like thin air. They want more,I realise, Typical cats. I ignore them and continue playing on computer. Suddenly I hear a noise like a stampede of elephants. Ciaran was coming down. He was almost never quiet. He feeds the fish and opens the curtains. Then he sits on the floor and plays on our wii. Soon after him, my mum comes down and makes breakfast for us.. Then our Brazilian students come out. They say "hello" and are really nice to me. They are Elcio [Boy] and Luciana [Girl]. After I have eaten breakfast, I brush my teeth and make my bed. When I am done I watch TV until 8:10. Then the second my mum says "It's time to go to school", I bolt off the couch, grab my bag and put on my shoes and hop in the car. It is freezing cold and it feels like my arms will snap off. Ciaran and mum come in with Elcio and Luciana. Mum drives the car out of the garage. Dew is covering the grass and frost is on the house windows while fog is covering the distant trees. We drive Elcio aand Luciana to the bus station where they get the bus to Eurocenter [Their school]. The second they open the door I half freeze to death. We say goodbye and drive to a BP Connect where my mum gets a coffee. She goes in with Ciaran so I stay in the car and play my recorder. When mum gets back the steam of the coffee fills the car and warms me up. We drive to school and I open the door, say bye to mum and step out. When I close it, the cold feels like a blanket of frost wrapping aroung me as I go to class.
